ained 21 years of age on the date of filing of nomination. The present writ petition was file
d in 2003 challenging the interim order passed by the learned Election Tribunal transposing op
posite party nos.4 and 8 in the place of the election petitioner. In the meantime the term of
the office of the Sarpanch has been over and this writ petition has become infructuous by eff
lux of time. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
