 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Government Advocate.

2. The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that the opposite parties wit
hout following due procedure of law are taking steps for acquisition of the land and building
 of the petitioner appertaining to Plot No.414 under Khata No.3 of Mouza Keutapada measuring
an area of Ac.0.120 decimals for the purpose of construction of Bridge over Sapua Canal.

3. Learned Addl. Government Advocate on instruction submitted that though there is a prop
osal for acquisition of land for the purpose of construction of Bridge over Sapua Canal, till
date no proceeding has been initiated.

4. In view of the above, this Court disposes of this Writ Petition with an observation th
at the opposite parties shall not dispossess the petitioner from the aforesaid land without fo
llowing due procedure of law and in case acquisition is made the Resettlement and Rehabilitati
on Policy framed by the Government shall be implemented in letter and spirit.
