After filing of the writ petition the Government has already issued a fresh no
tification regarding reorganization of Grama Panchayats of the State of Odisha.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is thus permitted to withdraw the writ peti
tion with liberty to file a fresh writ petition challenging the subsequent notification, in ca
se the petitioner is still aggrieved.
It may be noted that since the petitioner is a member of the village and an af
fected party, the writ petition, if filed, shall not be treated as public interest litigation
and shall be placed before the appropriate Bench having assigned to deal with such matter for
appropriate decision.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
