Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the adv
ertisement vide Annexure-2, the petitioner has applied for the post of Sikshya Sahayika as a +
2 Arts untrained candidate. Her name found place in Sl.No.9 of the select list. But then, no
appointment order has been issued in her favour.
Per contra, Mr. Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education
Department submits that one, Lalit Kumar Naik has filed a writ application in W.P.(C) No. 1419
7 of 2011 before this Court, whereafter one post was kept vacant.
W.P.(C) NO. 14197 of 2011 (Lalit Kumar Naik-vrs.-State of Orissa and others) i
s disposed of as withdrawn on 21.11.2016. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed o
f with a direction to the Collector-cum-Chairman, SSA & CEO, Zilla Parishad, Nabarangpur, oppo
site party no.3 to engage the petitioner in the post of Sikshya Sahayika, if there is no imped
iment.
