16.11.2016 The petitioner is a widow of Harekrushna Patra, who was serving as Hindi Teach
er at Maa Ambika (New Government) High School, Simulia in the district of Balasore. She allege
d the action of the opposite parties in not granting family pension.
Mr. Mohanty, learned Standing Counsel for the School & Mass Education Departme
nt as well as Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the opposite party no.8, submits that the school i
n question is a Government school.
At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the liberty
may be granted to the petitioner to approach the State Administrative Tribunal for redressal o
f her grievance.
Liberty is granted to the petitioner to move the learned State Administrative
Tribunal. In the event an application is filed within a period of thirty days from today, lear
ned Tribunal shall dispose of the same on merit.
The petition is disposed of.
