2. This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the entry made by the
Asst. Settlement Officer, Major Settlement, Cuttack opposite party no.3 in the settlement Rec
ords of Right under Annexure-4 published in the year 1990.
3. Law is well settled that the Records of Right published by the Settlement authorities can neither create nor extinguish title of any party.
4. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the matter. However , it is open to the petitioner to approach the competent court of law for redressal of his gri evance if any, if so advised.
The Writ Petition along with Misc. Case is accordingly dismissed.
