03.02.2016 Heard Mr. S.C. Samantary, learned counsel for the petitioner.
In this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for quashing of order dated 27.3.2
015 vide Annexure-8 which contains the Memorandum initiating Departmental Proceeding against t
he petitioner.
A perusal of the writ application shows that after receipt of the Memorandum of charge
s under Annexure-8, the petitioner has already filed his reply on merits under Annexure-9. The
refore, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to quash the Memorandum of charges under Ann
exure-8. However, since, the Memorandum of charges was issued way back in 27.3.2015, this Cour
t directs opposite party no.2 to complete the Departmental Proceeding initiated under Annexure
-8 within three months from today, if there is no other impediment.
The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
