23.06.2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in 2(a)CC.Case No. 07 of 2016 on the file of lear
ned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Phulbani registered under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of N.D.P.
S. Act.
It has been alleged that 11 Kgs.625 gram Ganja was recovered and seized from the pos
session of the petitioner.
It is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 29.05.2016.
Considering the submission made on behalf of the petitioner that he has no criminal an
tecedent, it is directed that the petitioner be released on bail by furnishing bond of Rs.20,0
00/- ( rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties for the like amount to the satisfaction of t
he learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Phulbani with the conditions that he shall not in
volve himself in any act of the alleged type and shall not default in personal attendance in c
ourt during trial on each date.
The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
