Learned Addl. Standing Counsel on instructions states that no FIR has been reg
istered against the present petitioner for the alleged offence under Section 498-A of the IPC
and Section 4 of the D.P. Act and allied offences on the report submitted by one Sandip Pandey
or her agents or relations before the Inspector In-Charge, Mahila Police Station, Bhubaneswar
. Hence, there is no subsisting apprehension of arrest of the petitioner.
In that view of the matter, the ABLAPL is disposed of as infructuous. Interim
order dated 28.07.2016 stands vacated.
