06.8.2015. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Government Advocate for th
e State.

2. The petitioners are apprehending arrest for the alleged commission of offences under Se
ctions 406/420/34 of the I.P.C. in G.R. Case No.508/2015 of the court of learned S.D.J.M.(S),
Cuttack, arising out of Markat Nagar P.S. Case No.26/2015.
3. It appears from the record that the petitioners have not only duped the informant but
 also there are several other cases of attempted cheating and multiple transactions are avail
able on record. This Court is of the opinion that since investigation of the case is continui
ng, grant of anticipatory bail to these petitioners will adversely effect the progress of inv
estigation of the case.

4. Keeping in view the aforesaid consideration, this Court is not inclined to grant anticip
atory bail to the present petitioners. Accordingly, the ABLAPL is rejected.
 The interim order passed earlier stands vacated.
