line. The said permission was granted by the Forest Department on 31.01.2026 with the specific condition that no tree will be cut without prior permission of the competent authority and no damage to the trees will be caused. The reply of the Respondent No. 3 makes it very clear that no permission for felling of any tree has been granted to Respondents No. 5 and 6. The stand of the Respondent No. 3 in the reply affidavit dated 10.02.2026 is as under:
A copy of the inspection report dated 12.11.2025 is annexed herewith and marked as ANNEXURE-3.
10. That during the said field inspection, it was observed that:
iii. No illegal cutting or environmental damage had occurred.
A copy of the photographs of the trees taken during the inspection are annexed herewith and marked as ANNEXURE-4.
11. That it is submitted before the Hon'ble Tribunal that the Electricity Department vide letter dated 31.12.2025 applied for permission / NOC from the forest department. Through the aforementioned permission letter, the electricity department sought permission/ NOC for felling/ trimming of branches of trees coming in contact with the line. The said application has been examined strictly by the forest department in accordance with the provisions of:

12. That the relevant portion of the aforementioned letter for permission sent by the Electricity Department is as stated below:
" क ृ प ् या उपरोक ्त विषयक आपको अिगत कराना है कक मैससस आकििेिा ृ कार ् सन एलएलपी द ्व ारा सभी आिश ् यक शतो ं ि ननयमो को ं पुरा करते ह ु ए ु 33 क०िी०ए० लाईन वर े ् छाई जा रही है यह लाईन 132 े क०िी०ए० पारेषण े े उपकन े्द् र झझि ं झाना (नसकन ्द् िरपुर) से मैससस आकििेिा कार ् सन एलएलपी े सकौती तक वर ् छाई जा रही है।
13. That subsequent to thorough examination, the forest department has granted the NOC dated 31.01.2026 to the electricity department. The permission so granted is subject to strict adherence to the conditions imposed by the forest department. The conditions are as follows:
14. That it is germane to note that no permission has been granted for felling of any trees, and no tree has been felled.”
