The case is fixed for final hearing but one of the substantial environmental questions involved in the case concerns determination of flood plain zone of River Ganga in district Rishikesh as per the River Ganga (Rejuvenation, Protection and Management) Authorities Order, 2016.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 3 seeks time for filing of additional response in this regard.

Additional response regarding determination of flood plain zone of River Ganga in district Rishikesh as per the River Ganga (Rejuvenation, Protection and Management) Authorities Order, 2016 may be filed within one month.

I.A. No. 360/2024 was filed by respondent no.7 for condonation of delay in filing written statement/response which is stated to be still pending and has been listed today.

In view of the reasons mentioned, I.A. No. 360/2024 is allowed and delay in filing of written statement/response is condoned.

In compliance with order dated 08.01.2026, Applicant- Mr. Vipin Nayyar, who is under trial in custody in the District Jail, Tehri Garwal at New Tehri has been produced before this Tribunal through V.C.

The Superintendent, District Jail, Tehri Garwal at New Tehri is directed to make appropriate arrangement to allow the applicant to join the proceedings before this Tribunal through V.C. on 09.07.2026.
