PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1^st respondent to dispose of the petitioners Revision/ Appeal dated 14.02.2025 by against the order in Se.Mu.No. A2/ 6021/ 2025 dated 17.01.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent herein, pertaining to the subject property situate at East Coast Road, Vettuvankeni, Injambakkam, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai district the Patta, Chitta and Adangal bearing No. 938 Survey No. 353/17 within a date to be fixed by this Court after giving enough opportunity to the parties concerned according to law.

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1^st respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s Revision/ Appeal dated 14.02.2025.

The case of the petitioner is that he submitted a Revision/Appeal dated

14.02.2025 before the 1^st respondent, challenging the order passed by the 2^nd respondent pertaining to the subject property situated at East Coast Road, Vettuvankeni, Injambakkam, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District, which is comprised in Survey No. 353/17 and covered under Patta, Chitta, and Adangal

date. Challenging this inaction on the part of the 1^st respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

The learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents

submitted that the petitioner’s appeal dated 14.02.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the 1^st respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 14.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
