The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of

Mandamus directing the 1^st respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s appeal dated 27.02.2026.

The case of the petitioner is that he preferred an appeal before the 1^st respondent on 27.02.2026 challenging the rejection order passed by the 2^nd respondent. However, the same has not been considered till date. Challenging the inaction on the part of the 1^st respondent, the petitioner has approached this Court.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the

submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 1^st respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer, to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 27.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
