Challenging the order passed in W.P.No.4445 of 2016, dated 05.02.2016, the Writ Petitioner has filed the above Writ Appeal.

The appellant filed the Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to initiate the recruitment process for the post of Managing Director of Repco Bank (Repatriates Co-operative Finance and Development Bank) through the 2 nd respondent and also to complete the selection.

3. The learned Single Judge taking into consideration the case of both sides, dismissed the Writ Petition. Challenging the same, the Writ Petitioner has filed the above Writ Appeal.

When the Writ Appeal is taken up for hearing, Mr. Stalin Abhimanyu, learned counsel appearing for the appellant submitted that the 3 rd respondent had already completed the selection process and nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Appeal. Further, the learned counsel submitted that liberty may be granted to the appellant to challenge the order of appointment, in accordance with law.

5. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Appeal is dismissed as infructuous. It is open to the appellant to challenge the order of appointment, in accordance with law. No costs.
