Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records of the 1st respondent made in C.M.A.No.42 of 2000 dated 13.08.2003 and quash the same and confirm the order passed by the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Tiruchirappalli made in Na.Ka.No.10026/94 dated 19.05.1999.

When the matter was listed for hearing on 14.10.2019, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reported “no instructions” and hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter on 15.10.2019 by printing the name of the petitioner. On 15.10.2019, though the name of the petitioner was printed in the cause list, none appeared for them. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption “for dismissal” on 16.10.2019. Though the matter has been listed under the caption “for dismissal” today, none appeared for the petitioner. Hence,
this Court has no other option except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
