PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to complete the enquiry within a time frame and pass orders in the Appeal, dated 30.09.2016 of the petitioner presented under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act in accordance with law.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

In the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, it is stated that the petitioner has already been filed an appeal before the first respondent herein and the same is pending.

In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to complete the proper enquiry as expeditiously as possible and pass orders on merits, and in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Sd/-
