3.Assailing the allegations of the petitioner, the respondent has filed a counter affidavit. In the Counter Affidavit, it is stated that the petitioner appeared for the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper I and he got through the test and was called for Certificate Verification on 9.11.2012 and that the Respondent Board extended a last and final opportunity to attend Certificate Verification on 10.11.2012 for some reasons and that he appeared before the respondent on 10.12.2012 and produced all the marks sheet and at the time of certificate verification, it was noticed that the petitioner has not produced the valid employment renewal certificate. Further, it is stated that, thereafter, the Board considered the petitioner for selection in 2013 recruitment. The petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste (G) Category. The last candidate selected in Scheduled Caste (G) turn is 68.56. The petitioner has secured only 64.96 marks. Since the petitioner has not secured eligible cut off marks, he was not considered for selection.
