Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st Respondent to dispose of the appeal of the Petitioner dated 25.4.2011.

In this Writ Petition, the Petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st Respondent to dispose of the appeal of the Petitioner dated 25.4.2011 at the earliest.

This court heard the learned counsel on either side and considered their submissions and also perused the materials placed on record.

The subject matter in dispute is the appeal pending before the 1st Respondent relating to the patta claim. Since the subject matter is so limited, this court is inclined

to pass final orders in the main WP itself. Accordingly, the 1st Respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal of the Petitioner dated, 25.4.2011, after giving due opportunity to the parties concerned, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected MP is closed.
