JUDGMENT

The petitioner is the owner in possession of the

property covered by Ext.P4 Settlement Deed. The petitioner applied for mutation of the said property. However, no decision was taken on the application for mutation. Accordingly, the petitioner submitted Ext.P6 representation before the 1^st respondent. The limited prayer of the petitioner is for a direction

to the 1^st respondent to consider Ext.P6 representation and to finalize the application for mutation.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the

learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

It is seen from the endorsement made by the 1^st

¶24

respondent on Ext.P6 representation that the application of the petitioner has been made over to the 3^rd respondent. Accordingly, there will be a direction to the 3^rd respondent to consider Ext.P6 representation of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall

produce a copy of this writ petition along with a certified copy
