JUDGMENT

The petitioner, a senior citizen has approached this Court aggrieved by the delay in considering her application for Thandaper Certificate.

According to the petitioner, her son purchased the property covered by Ext.P1 Sale Deed. After the death of her son, in order to clear certain liabilities due to a Cooperative Society, the petitioner proposed to sell the said property. For the said purpose, the petitioner applied for Thandaper Certificate. The petitioner states that, she has already entered into an agreement for sale of the said property and the period referred to therein for registration is to expire shortly. Accordingly, she has filed this writ petition for expeditious disposal of her application for Thandaper Certificate.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, there will be a direction to the 3^rd respondent to consider the

application of the petitioner for Thandaper Certificate as evident from Ext.P8 receipt, as expeditiously as possible, at

any rate, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
