JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who has been working as Anganvadi worker for the last 15 years on temporary basis. She was included in the list for appointment of Anganvadi workers by the second respondent. When her turn reached, the third respondent claiming herself to the competent person and entitled to be appointed in dying in harness scheme had approached the authority. She claimed that her sister had died in the year 2010, while in service. The petitioner had submitted Ext.P1 representation before the first respondent on 04.08.2021. The limited prayer sought by the petitioner is for a direction for an early disposal of Ext.P1.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the first respondent to take up, consider and dispose of Ext.P1 representation on merits, within a period of three months from the date of

receipt of a copy of this judgment, after giving a reasonable opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as to the third respondent, either physically or online.
