JUDGMENT

Gopinatha Warrier, who is the Kudumba Mooppan of Aniyoor Waaryam family gave Ext.P7 consent letter in stamp paper to confer karayama kazhakom right to his grandson. By Ext.P7 consent letter, petitioner has to perform karayama duties on behalf of A.K.Warrier, till he become major. Claiming that, pursuant to Ext.P9 order, Kudumba Mooppan submitted Ext.P10 consent letter with signatures of two witnesses, as per the direction contained in Ext.P9, petitioner has approached this Court lamenting about the delay.

After having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, I am inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition itself directing the first respondent to take up, consider and dispose of Ext.P15 representation as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after giving reasonable opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and also the affected parties, physically or through virtual mode.
