The petitioner herein is an employee of the first respondent K.S.E.B. He was employed as Foreman

¶24

Grade II in Mechanical Maintenance Sub Division, having been promoted to the above post with effect from 10.11.2015. The petitioner now claims that he is now due for further promotion as Foreman Grade I. Accordingly, Ext.P3 representation dated 24.11.2020 was submitted by the petitioner seeking promotion to Foreman Grade I post and is pending. Ext.P4 and Ext.P5 are the clarifications forwarded pursuant to Ext.P3.

Considering the limited prayer sought by the petitioner and after hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel for the K.S.E.B. and the learned Government Pleader, I am inclined to direct the fourth respondent to consider and pass orders in accordance with law on Ext.P3 representation, reckoning Ext.P2 and clarifications of second and third

respondents on Ext.P4 and Ext.P5, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months
