JUDGMENT
The petitioner, who purchased 7 cents of land, along
with the building thereon, vide assignment deed No.3906/2014 dated 05.12.2014 of Sub Registrar Office, Mattannur, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari to quash Ext.P4 show cause notice dated 11.01.2016, Ext.P5 provisional order dated 11.01.2016 and Ext.P8 order dated 28.05.2016 issued by the 1st respondent. The petitioner has also sought for a writ of mandamus commanding the 3rd respondent Assistant Engineer to restore the electric connection dismantled as per Ext.P12 request dated 15.12.2016 of the 1st respondent.

that electric connection to the building was dismantled.
Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned counsel for respondents 1 and 2 and also the learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, without expressing anything as to the right of the petitioner to file a fresh application for building permit or to get the building regularised.
