JUDGMENT

The petitioners filed these writ petitions stating that they had submitted Exts.P4 to P6 applications for revaluation of answer books of various papers of the 6^th semester B.A.(Economics) Degree examination. They had also produced the E-Receipts dated 04.05.2019 as Exts.P7 to P9 claiming that applications along with the challans towards remittance of the requisite fee were submitted in time before the University.

2. The learned Standing Counsel on

instructions submits that they are not in receipt of the applications stated to have been submitted by the petitioners. It is also stated that the

last date for receipt of the application for revaluation was 14.05.2019.

3. Stating that petitioners have submitted the applications by ordinary post and they do not

have any other material in proof of their applications, they have approached the Vice

Chancellor with Exts.P13 to P15 representations. In these representations they have requested the Vice Chancellor for taking steps for revaluation pointing out that they have submitted their applications and remitted the fee in time for revaluation of the respective answer books on 04.05.2019 itself.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.

In view of the circumstances stated by the petitioners, there shall be a direction to the Vice Chancellor of the University to consider the representations and pass orders, within a period of ten days and communicate the same to petitioners.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
