JUDGMENT

The petitioner, who is presently working as a Class IV employee in the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Science University, had commenced his service in the Kerala Agricultural University. While working as Class IV employee, he was appointed as LDV Driver Grade II. While so, he was subjected to disciplinary proceedings and was demoted as Class IV employee.

2. Petitioner submits that there are vacancies available in the post of LDV Driver and his request in Ext.P4, though was forwarded to the Registrar, is not so far considered.

3. The learned Standing Counsel on instructions submitted that there is no direct appointment to the post of LDV Driver from Class IV employees.

However since petitioner has submitted Ext.P3 representation and the Dean of the College of

Diary Science and Technology has forwarded it to the Registrar, it is only appropriate that the 1^st respondent considers Ext.P3 representation, which is

forwarded as per Ext.P4, and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of one month

from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
