J U D G M E N T

The limited request of the counsel for the petitioners, when this writ petition taken up today, is for a direction to the 1^st respondent to consider and pass final orders on Ext.P3 representation that is pending before the said authority. I have heard the learned Government Pleader as well as Adv.Sri.M.Sasindran who appears for the 2^nd respondent. In view of the limited relief sought for, I am satisfied that this writ petition can be disposed of.

This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the 1^st respondent to consider Ext.P3 representation in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioners as well as the 2^nd respondent.
