JUDGMENT
This Contempt Case is filed alleging that the respondent herein, who is the Port Conservator, Ponnani, has willfully disobeyed Annexure 1 interim order passed by this Court on 5.9.2011 in W.P.(C)No.21221 of 2011 by not awarding the work of manual dredging in Zone No.14 to the petitioner society. It is brought to my notice that a Division Bench of this Court has by a common judgment delivered in W.P.(C)No.21221 of 2011 and connected cases, directed the District Collector to award the work to societies of all types and pursuant thereto the work of manual dredging in all the zones including Zone No.14 was re-tendered and was awarded to various societies. The petitioner was also awarded the work of manual dredging in Zone No.17. In such circumstances I am of the opinion that no further orders are called for in this Contempt Case. It is accordingly closed.
