JUDGMENT
This Contempt Case is filed alleging that the respondent herein, who is the Managing Director of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation, has willfully disobeyed the direction issued by this Court in Annexure A1 judgment in W.P.(C)No.30966 of 2011 by not depositing the amount awarded as compensation to the petitioner by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Thrissur in O.P.(MV)No.1149 of 2004. When the Contempt Case came up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has deposited the amount awarded as compensation. Learned Counsel appearing for the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation also submitted that the amount awarded as compensation by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Thrissur in O.P.(MV)No.1149 of 2004 has already been deposited.
In such circumstances as the direction issued by this Court in Annexure A1 judgment has been complied with, though belatedly, I find no grounds to proceed further in this Contempt Case. It is accordingly closed.
