Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. It is submitted by the learned A.P.P. that the sole petitioner namely Laldeo Baraik had died on 02.12.2019 and photocopy of the Death Certificate of the petitioner and certificate issued by the Mukhiya have been marked as Annexure “A” and Annexure “ A/1” respectively and has also filed the counter affidavit .
It transpires that learned counsel for the State has filed counter affidavit on 26.06.2026 through Sri Ajit Prakash, Sub-Inspector of Police-cum-Officer-in-charge, Pakartand Police Station, District - Simdega .
It also transpires from the photocopy of the Death Certificate issued by the Registrar ( Birth and Death) Gram Panchayat Sikariyatanr and the Certificate dated 15.06.2023 also issued by Smt. Jasinta Oraon, Mukhiya , Gram Panchayat Sikariyatanr that the petitioner namely Laldeo Baraik had died on 02.12.2019 .
Under the circumstances, this Criminal Revision No. 1037 of 2018 stands abated on account of death of the petitioner and stands disposed of.
