1. Nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the respondent-State Mr. Rahul Saboo is present.

This writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 05.10.2010 issued by Deputy Secretary, Government of Jharkhand, Department of Home and the consequential order issued by Superintendent of Police, Dhanbad, whereby the respondents have passed order for recovery of Rs. 50,000/- from the salary of the petitioner in equal installments.
4. From perusal of the supplementary counter-affidavit filed on behalf of respondent No.7, it appears that a statement has been made at paragraph-5 of the affidavit that Rs.5,000/- per month is to be deducted from the salary of the petitioner and till date, total of Rs.40,000/- @ Rs. 5,000/- per months has already been deducted from the salary of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid submission made in the counteraffidavit, it appears that the petitioner has lost interest in the present case.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
7. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
8. Pending interlocutory application, if any, is closed as not pressed.
