Rajendra Ray Alias Rajendra Kumar Ray Vs the State of Jharkhand

Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 320/ 2021, arising out of Dhanwar (Parson O.P.) P.S. Case No. 134/2021, registered under Sections 323/ 376/ 498A/ 504/ 506/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Giridih.

Husband of the informant met with an accident in 2016. He sustained spine injury. Subsequently he died. Petitioner happens to be brother-in-law of the informant. It is alleged that on the pretext of marriage he raped her and later on denied Marrying her.

Supplementary affidavit has been filed to bring on record statement of the informant recorded during the trial. It appears that informant has given a complete go by to her case.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Giridih in connection with S.T. Case No. 320/ 2021, arising out of Dhanwar (Parson O.P.) P.S. Case No. 134/2021.
