04/06.01.2023 Perused the communication dated 12.12.2022 from which
it appears that the learned trial court has prayed for extension of time for disposal of POCSO Case No. 18 of 2020.
It appears from the order dated 21.02.2022 that the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected with a direction to the learned trial court to conclude the trial within a period of nine months.
The contents of the letter under reference reveal that prosecution evidence has been closed and the case has been fixed for recording the statement of the accused under Section 313 CrPC.
In view of the aforesaid, therefore, the period for conclusion of trial is further extended for period of one month form today.
Let a copy of this order be communicated through FAX to the concerned court.
