Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties.

Defect No. 9(i)s, as pointed out by the office, is ignored.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 06 of 2020 arising out of Adityapur P.S. Case No. 28 of 2020, pending before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Seraikella.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected twice in B.A. No. 7769 of 2020 and B.A. No. 1642 of 2021.

It appears that out of 11 charge sheet witnesses two witnesses have been examined as yet.

Although the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has surfaced on account of disclosure made by Ramjan Ansari @ Jitu who used to purchase brown sugar from the petitioner, but regard being had to the fact that the petitioner has ten criminal antecedent under the N.D.P.S. Act, I am not inclined to reconsider her prayer for bail of the petitioner which stands rejected once again.

However, since the petitioner is in custody since 14.08.2020, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from today. If the trial is not concluded within the period as aforesaid, the petitioner is at liberty to renew her prayer for bail.

Let a copy of this order be sent through fax to the learned trial court immediately.
