Sahnawaj Khan Alias Sahjad Alias Rehan Ansari Vs the State of Jharkhand

Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chandrapura P.S. Case No. 01/2022, corresponding to G.R. No. 10/2022, registered under Sections 341/ 323/ 324/ 307/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Bermo, Tenughat.

On the night of 01/01/2022, dispute between informant and accused persons arose over new year celebration. It is alleged that Petitioner inflicted knife injuries on the victim due to which he succumbed to his injuries.

Earlier injury report was called for from perusal of which it transpires that the doctor who had examined the victim has not specifically stated about the nature of the injury.

Today she is present in the court. Supplementary affidavit has been filed by her stating therein that the injury sustained by the victim was simple in nature. She has further stated that due to inadvertence she has failed to mention the nature of injury in the injury report.

Explanation of Doctor Mrs. Sunanda Mandal is accepted. She is exempted from further appearance.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Bermo, Tenughat in connection with Chandrapura P.S. Case No. 01/2022, corresponding to G.R. No. 10/2022.
