This petition has been heard through Video Conferencing in view of the guidelines of the High Court taking into account the situation arising due to COVID-19 pandemic. None of the parties have complained about any technical snag of audio-video and with their consent this matter has been heard.

The petitioner has filed this petition for a direction to investigate the case, for which, Sanha dated 06.04.2018 has been filed by the deceased son of the petitioner.

Mr. Mahesh Tewari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of the Sanha, the matter has not been investigated. He further submits that the petitioner has filed a representation before the Superintendent of Police, Chatra on 03.07.2020.

In view of the representation pending before the Superintendent of Police, Chatra, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Chatra to dispose of the same in the light of Section 173(8) of Cr.P.C. as early as possible.
