The petitioner is an accused in connection with Namkum P.S. Case
No. 32 of 2020 corresponding to S. T. No. 231 of 2020.
It has been alleged that about 8-9 years back, the petitioner had taken the informant to Delhi to provide her with a job. She was taken to Rajiya Devi who had engaged her as a domestic help but no money was paid and she was also subjected to torture. The victim subsequently returned back from Delhi in the year 2017.
It appears that no complaint has been made earlier by anyone, though, the victim is alleged to have been taken away in the year 2011. It appears that the main accused namely, Rajiya Devi has been granted bail by this court in B. A. No. 12096 of 2020. The petitioner is in custody since 08.01.2020.
Although, the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, but regard being had to the period of custody undergone by her, she is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner XXI, Ranchi in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No. 32 of 2020 corresponding to S. T. No. 231 of 2020.
