The petitioner is an accused in connection with Chakradharpur
P.S. Case No. 60 of 2021 corresponding to G. R. No. 362 of 2021.
The marriage of the aunt of the informant was solemnized with the petitioner about 15 years back. It has been alleged that there was a demand of dowry and on non-fulfillment of which, she was subjected to torture. On 09.06.2021, the informant came to know that his aunt has died. It has been suspected that she was murdered and thereafter hanged.
The petitioner appears to be the husband of the deceased. The cause of death as per the post mortem report is opined to be strangulation.
Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to allow this application and the same is hereby rejected.
