The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 2067 of 2018 with a liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within a period of nine months.
It appears that four witnesses have been examined so far and three witnesses are still left to be examined. So far as the allegations are concerned, it is alleged that Nunbatta PACS had misappropriated government money of Rs. 10,84,384/-. The petitioner has been implicated on account of the fact that he was the Secretary of Nunbatta PACS. The petitioner appears to be in custody since 22.03.2017.
Regard being had to the observation made earlier and the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Godda in connection with Godda (M) P.S. Case No. 185/2016, corresponding to G.R. No. 1532/2016.
