Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties. Defects, as pointed out by the office, are ignored.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 60 of 2019 (NDPS Case No. 95 of 2019).
The petitioner and others were suspected to be involved in illegal cultivation of poppy plants. The petitioner is attributed to have financed such illegal cultivation of opium.
One of the co-accused, namely, Mahabir Ganjhu @ Mahaveer Ganjhu has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 11196 of 2019. The petitioner is in custody since 25.06.2021.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Chatra in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 60 of 2019 (NDPS Case No. 95 of 2019).
