03/06.12.2021 Heard Mr. Pankaj Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Veervijay Pradhan, learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Dhurki P.S. Case No. 28 of 2021.
The brother of the informant was shot at by the accused persons including the petitioner.
It appears that shot fired by the petitioner had struck the abdomen of the brother of the informant.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one injury was found to be simple but another injury was found to be grievous caused by sharp/hard object which does not substantiate the allegation levelled against the petitioner. It has further been stated that the petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2021.
It appears that the petitioner has got several criminal antecedent.
On consideration of the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
