The matter was taken up through Video Conferencing. Learned counsel for the parties had no objections with it and submitted that the audio and video qualities are good.

06/04.01.2021 : The present application has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in connection with Kumardungi Police Station Case No.51 of 2018, corresponding to G.R. Case No.459 of 2019 registered under Sections 420, 406, 409, 467, 468 and 120B of the IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 05.09.2019. There is an allegation of defalcation of about Rs.2 lacs by the applicant. The charge has already been framed on 05.02.2020. It has further been submitted that there are several cases lodged against this petitioner and in some of the cases he has already been granted bail which has been annexed by way of supplementary affidavit.

Counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/(Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Chaibasa in connection with Kumardungi Police Station Case No.51 of 2018, corresponding to G.R. Case No.459 of 2019, subject to condition that the petitioner will appear before the court below on each and every date of trial and he will submit his mobile number before the learned court below which he will always keep active and not change it during the pendency of this case without prior permission of the court.
