Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State.
So far as defect nos. 4 & 5(e) are concerned, learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the same once the situation normalizes. As regards the rest defects are concerned, the same are ignored.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Littipara P.S. Case No. 03 of 2020 (G.R. No. 111 of 2020).
One Babudhan Murmu was apprehended on the suspicion of having in his possession a stolen mobile. During inquiry some persons instigated the public and Babudhan Murmu was got freed from the custody of police. The police vehicle was also set on fire and several police personnel were heckled and assaulted. It appears that so far as specific allegation of assault is concerned the same has been attributed to Rajesh Thakur as well as Vippati Maraiya. The allegations against the petitioner are general and omnibus in nature.
On consideration of the aforesaid facts, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Pakur, in connection with Littipara P.S. Case No. 03 of 2020 (G.R. No. 111 of 2020).
