Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties.
Defects No. 9(i) to 9(vi), as pointed out by the office, are ignored.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Sariya P.S. Case No. 23 of 2020, pending before the Court of learned CJM, Giridih.
The marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with the petitioner about four years back. It is alleged that there was a demand of dowry and she was subjected to torture on account of non-fulfillment of the said demand. It has further been alleged that on 21.01.2020 an information was received that the daughter of the informant had died while falling on a well.
It appears that after investigation charge-sheet has been submitted u/s 306 I.P.C. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The First Information Report reveals an abetment on the part of the petitioner which perhaps led to the deceased to commit suicide.
In view of the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is hereby rejected.
