Defects, as pointed out by the office, are ignored.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Bankmore P.S. Case No. 136 of 2020.
It has been alleged that the accused persons always demanded extortion money from the informant for the last one year. On 17.05.2020, extortion money of Rs.5,00,000/- was demanded from the informant. It has further been alleged that the accused-Prince Khan had put a pistol on his head and threatened to kill him if the amount is not paid.
Although learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the matter has been compromised and petitioner is in custody since 21.5.2020 but taking into consideration the fact that petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence his prayer for bail is accordingly rejected at this stage.
