It has been alleged that the petitioner in connivance with the other accused persons took objectionable photographs of the daughter of the informant and started blackmailing her. It has been alleged that the petitioner had established physical relationship with her and when the marriage of the daughter of the informant was fixed ,the petitioner had sent the photographs to the would be groom in order to malign her.

The 164 Cr.P.C. statement has been sent by the learned counsel for the petitioner through Email to this Court.

On perusal of the said statement it appears that the victim was knowing the petitioner since last 3-4 years and on several occasions physical relationship was established. The victim is a major and seems to have acceded to the sexual advances made by the petitioner willingly. The petitioner is in custody since 19.04.2020.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Hazaribagh, in connection with Katkamdag P.S. Case No. 41 of 2020.
