Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned APP appearing for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. No. 146 of 2019 arising out of Mihijam P.S. Case No. 55 of 2019 (G.R. No. 394 of 2019), pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jamtara.
The marriage of the sister of the informant was solemnized on 13.07.2013. It has been alleged that there was a demand of Rs. 05 Lakhs. On 17.06.2019 information was received that his sister died due to burn injury The petitioner appears to be the husband of the deceased.
Rejected being had to the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him. The prayer for bail made by the petitioner is hereby rejected.
