Heard Mr. M.K. Sah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Gouri S. Prasad, learned A.P.P for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Pathargama P.S. Case No. 02 of 2019, corresponding to G.R. No. 09/2019, T.R. No. 814 of 2019.
It has been alleged that the daughter of the informant was tortured at her matrimonial house due to non-fulfilment of demand of 1 Bhari Gold. The deceased was assaulted with an iron rod by the petitioner on 10.01.2019 and she died.
It appears that on 10.01.2019, quarrel had taken place between the wife and mother of the petitioner regarding washing of clothes. The petitioner on return had abused the deceased who consumed poison. The cause of death appears to be on account of poison. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased and the incident is said to have taken place on account of petty domestic quarrel. Petitioner is in custody since 03.01.2019.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Godda in connection with Pathargama P.S. Case No. 02 of 2019, corresponding to G.R. No. 09/2019, T.R. No. 814 of 2019.
