The petitioners are accused in connection with Barkatha P.S. Case No. 133 of 2013, G.R. No. 2242 of 2013.
The marriage of the informant was solemnized with Mahendra Paswan 8-9 years back. Subsequently, there was a demand of Rs.1,00,000/- and on account of non-fulfillment of which, she was subjected to torture. A complaint case was filed against the accused persons and the husband had threatened her with dire consequences if she does not arrive at a settlement.
It has been submitted by the learned A.P.P. that after departure of her husband for Mumbai, the informant and her son were thrown into the well by the accused persons. She was rescued but her son had died.
It appears that petitioner no. 1 is the brother in law of the informant whereas petitioner no. 2 is the wife of petitioner no. 1. Some of the accused persons have been acquitted by the learned trial court and one of the co-accused namely Jageshwar Paswan has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No.2794 of 2019.
Regard being had to the aforesaid fact, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only), each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Hazaribagh in connection with Barkatha P.S. Case No. 133 of 2013, G.R. No. 2242 of 2013.
